Vecchio Amaro del Capo is a famous Italian bitter liqueur produced by the Caffo Distillery in Limbadi, in the province of Vibo Valentia. This liqueur is named after Capo Vaticano, a picturesque location near Tropea, which is also depicted on the bottle label.
Product Features:
Ingredients: Made from water, neutral alcohol, sugar, herbal infusions, and natural aromas, with a selection of about twenty natural ingredients, all from plants grown in Calabria. These include mandarin, anise, oranges, chamomile, juniper, licorice, mint, and hyssop.
Preparation: The ingredients are macerated for several days in 90° alcohol to extract the essences that give the bitter its characteristic flavor.
Color and Flavor: The liqueur has an amber color and offers a sweet-bitter taste with a strongly aromatic aftertaste, making it unique in its category.
Alcohol Content: 35%.
Serving Suggestions: It is recommended to serve Vecchio Amaro del Capo chilled at -20°C, in glasses also chilled, to enhance its aromatic notes and refreshing taste. Perfect for concluding a meal or for a relaxing moment, this amaro represents the essence of the flavors and aromas of Calabria.
